Essential Care Group are pleased to reveal that the company has been awarded ‘GOOD’ in its latest CQC report.
The inspection which was carried out in January of this year, asked staff and service users questions to rated to the service. Care Quality Commission (CQC), an independent regulator who assess all health and social care provide in England and make sure each care provider is giving sufficient care – provide an overall rating and focus on 5 inspection areas.
We’re extremely proud to say that we have been awarded a ‘GOOD’ rating overall and in each of the 5 inspection areas. We would like to say thank you to all our staff, service users and everyone involved with Essential Care Group for helping us with this achievement.

Who are CQC?
CQC are an independent regulator of health and social care in England and make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.
Their role is to monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and we publish what we find, including performance ratings to help people choose care.
What are the 5 inspection areas?

The inspector has reported they felt we were “GOOD” in all the above criteria and gave us an overall good rating.
What were the comments from service users?
We were given some wonderful feedback from both the inspector, clients and our care team. Here’s just some of the responses from our service users:

While we are delighted to have received a ‘GOOD’ rating, we want to work even harder on improving our services and raising the standard of care for all existing and potential service users.
