Employees from Essential Group of Companies strutted their stuff on the catwalk for charity Variety this week and helped raise money for disadvantaged children.
The event, held at JCT600 Aston Martin Showroom in Leeds was hosted by Business Guru and Media Commentator Kate Hardcastle and featured models from the local community, with clothes provided from Yorkshire clothes designers.
Essential’s Neil Dillon and Oliver Fields took part in modelling wearing outfits from casual wear to black tie along with other male, female and children models.
The fashion show, along with a raffle and an auction helped raise £13,000 for Variety; a children’s charity who provide sick, disabled or disadvantaged children with coaches, wheelchairs and help organise day trips out to theme parks and other destinations.
Neil Dillon, Business Development Manager for Essential Healthcare Solutions said: “I was slightly nervous about walking on the catwalk to begin with but I relaxed as the evening went on, there was great camaraderie between the models too.”
“I’m pleased it went well because it was a great event for a great cause and I feel proud to have taken part. I’m delighted we managed to raise a lot of money for a charity that helps make a difference.”
