Essential Care Group are pleased to announce we will be supporting children’s charity Variety with their Great Days Out initiative at Yorkshire Wildlife Park this Wednesday.
Set up in the UK in 1949, Variety provide support for sick, disabled or disadvantaged children with transport, equipment and day trips. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Variety Great Days Out, which offers day trips for free for children from special needs schools.
This is the second time Essential have supported Variety this year, having already sponsored two models at their fashion show event in Leeds and we are offering our support again with a number of volunteers from Essential to help with the smooth running of the event this week.
Chelsey Pickles, Acting Registered Manager of Essential Care Group said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Variety again as it’s always great to help support those who need it, whether it’s here at Essential Care Group or volunteering with Variety to help disadvantaged children. We’re proud to help make a difference.”
Helen Cornell, Regional Finance and Appeals Administrator for Variety said: “Variety would like to thank Essential Care Group for all the support they have given us with the celebration of 50 years of ‘Variety Great Days Out”.”
“They have provided invaluable help with the organisation of the day and they are also providing volunteers to join us at the event to help make the day really special for the children who are attending it, providing them with some much needed relief from the day to day struggles that they encounter.”
